Musicians have always been involved in gaming one way or another and here I bring you some that are actually really fun to play. So let me take you down memory lane with some pretty cool games you might not of heard of.
Motorhead – Virgin Games – Amiga 500 – 1998
Motorhead???? Yes I ain’t tripping! This was actually a really good side scrolling beat’em up on the trusty Amiga. It was developed by Kaitsu Software and published by Virgin Games. What other game out there lets you pick up the girl groupies lol. Highly recommended game!
Frankie Goes To Hollywood – Ocean – Commodore 64 – 1985
Hmmmm where do I start? This game is beyond weird and to be honest I have no idea whats going on in it but funny enough it’s a lot of fun. You play as a the Frankie Character from their album covers walking through houses, apartments and gardens looking for items and solving puzzles. Sort of a point and click with lots of investigating. There are also some cool mini games like Pong, target practice and a kind of weird game where your a condom!!! Still a very weird but enjoyable game.
Rockstar ate my Hamster – Codemasters – Various Vintage Computers – 1988
Yeah weird title for a game but it’s so much fun, that’s if you enjoy management games. The aim of the game is to select a band consisting of famous 80’s stars like Wacky Jacko (Micheal Jackson), Izzy Asbeen (Ozzy Osboune) and Jason Doner-Kebab (Jason Donavon) lol!! just to name a few. Then to succeed you will need to practice, gig, record an album and so on. This is actually a really good game and you don’t need to put a lot of time into it. I spent many hours on this trying to put together the perfect band and there is lots of reply value. Highly Recommended
