+3 To Geekdom Podcast Episode 5 – The One About Tokyo Game Show, Bloodborne & Vinyl!

What’s this then? Episode 5 of the +3 To Geekdom podcast and it’s on time (well…kinda). That’s right folks, it’s time again for your monthly dose of geekdom goodness!

We’re joined for this months episode by our good friend Mr. Darren “Daz” Borg from Retro Domination as we sit down to talk about the happenings and announcements that recently took place during Tokyo Game Show 2015. Karin (of Street Fighter Alpha 3 fame) was announced as the latest character to join the Street Fighter V roster and we begin foam at the mouth at a pair of announcements courtesy of From Software: Dark Souls 3 will launching on March 24, 2016 AND Bloodborne will be getting a new DLC expansion titled ‘The Old Hunters’, releasing on November 24th, 2015. This leads us to our next topic of discussion: the love/hate relationship that the three of us have with Bloodborne.

This month also sees the debut of a new ongoing segment where we plan on showcasing one of our favourite table top or card games, with ‘Geek Out!‘ courtesy of Playroom Entertainment being first up on the chopping block. Tim and Daz go head to head as they answer a series of pop culture related questions and try to psyche each other out!

To wrap things up, we delve into Tim’s recent rekindling of his relationship with his beloved vinyl record collection, as we both reminisce about our awesome high school & metal head days! Of course we have another round of Q&A to close out the show. We hope you enjoy this episode and we’ll see you next month!
